Score calculator — frequently asked questions
How is the NEET score calculated?
NEET score = (correct answers × 4) − (wrong answers × 1). Each correct answer earns +4 marks and each wrong answer loses 1 mark, out of a maximum of 720 across 180 questions. Enter your correct and wrong counts above to get the exact figure.
How is the JEE Main score calculated?
JEE Main score = (correct × 4) − (wrong × 1), out of 300 marks across 75 questions. The same +4/−1 scheme applies to both the MCQ and numerical sections.
How is the CUET score calculated?
For each CUET UG subject, score = (correct × 5) − (wrong × 1), out of 250 marks across 50 questions. Calculate each subject separately.
How is the CLAT score calculated?
CLAT score = (correct × 1) − (wrong × 0.25), out of 120 marks across 120 questions. A wrong answer costs a quarter mark, so unattempted can beat a wild guess.
Can this tool predict my rank or percentile?
No — and no tool honestly can from marks alone. Rank and percentile depend on how difficult the paper was and how everyone else scored that year, which is only known after results. This calculator gives your exact score; use it with previous-year cut-offs as a rough guide only.
Is this score calculator free to embed on my website?
Yes. It’s free for any school, teacher or education blog to embed using the snippet on this page. The embed keeps a small "by Mentora" credit link.
