What is the CLAT exam pattern?
CLAT (UG) is a 2-hour offline (pen-and-paper) test with 120 multiple-choice questions for 120 marks. Marking is +1 for a correct answer and −0.25 for a wrong answer. Questions are comprehension-based and spread across five sections: English Language, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. Current Affairs & GK and Legal Reasoning carry the largest weight (roughly a quarter each), followed by English and Logical Reasoning, with Quantitative Techniques the smallest.
